The goal is to replace scattered apps and WhatsApp groups with a single, school-run platform.

The school owner (principal or management) creates an account and sets up the school profile. From there, school admins, teachers, parents, and students are added and linked to classrooms. Most schools complete their initial setup in a single day and run a pilot class before rolling out to everyone.

Unokidz runs in any modern web browser on phones, tablets, and computers — no app download required. The platform is optimised for mobile so parents and teachers can use it on the go. An installable web app (PWA) is also available for a more native feel on Android and iOS.

School owners have full control: manage classrooms, add or remove teachers and staff, approve parent notifications before they go out, review activity submissions, track attendance across the school, and access school-wide insights. The owner dashboard is the command centre for the whole school.

Yes. School owners can add school admins who can manage day-to-day operations — adding students, managing classrooms, and tracking attendance — without having full owner-level access. This lets you delegate responsibility while keeping oversight.

Teachers compose notifications and submit them for approval. The school owner reviews and either approves or rejects them before they reach parents. This keeps communication professional and on-brand — no more unofficial messages going out directly from teachers’ personal phones.

Go to the Attendance tab, select your class and date, and mark each student as present, absent, or on leave. The form is quick to fill on mobile and saves immediately. Your school admin can view the full attendance history across all classes.

Activities are assignments or work samples you post for a class. You create an activity (with an optional description, date, and media uploads), then submit it for the school owner’s approval. Once approved, it appears in the parent portal so parents can see what their child is working on. This replaces WhatsApp photo sharing with a structured, school-controlled flow.

Yes. From the Notifications tab, choose your class, write your message, and submit it for approval. Once the school owner approves it, all linked parents in that class receive the notification. You can also target individual students if needed.

Your school will share a parent portal link with you. Open it in your browser, verify your phone number via OTP, and you’ll see all approved activities and updates for your child’s class. No separate app download is needed.

Yes — once your school enables notifications, you’ll receive alerts via WhatsApp or SMS when new approved activities or school notifications are published for your child’s class.

Yes. Unokidz uses role-based access so parents only see their own child’s data and class activities. Student data is never sold or used for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Tutor Buddy is a voice-friendly AI assistant for students. It gives hints and guided questions — not direct answers — so students actually learn instead of copying. It’s scoped to your school’s curriculum and subject areas, keeping responses safe and relevant.

No. Unokidz AI surfaces insights and saves time on admin — it does not make instructional decisions. Every final call about students stays with teachers, school leaders, and parents. The AI is a tool for people, not a replacement for them.

No. Student data is not used to train third-party AI models without explicit consent from the school. AI feature inputs are processed to generate responses for that session only. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how AI providers handle data.

All connections are encrypted (TLS). Access is strictly role-based — parents see only their child’s data, teachers see only their class, and school admins see only their school. Data is hosted in secure cloud infrastructure with regular security reviews.

Data is stored in Neon PostgreSQL cloud database infrastructure. ZEVARAS is an Indian company and we select providers with strong data security practices. Schools can contact us for details about specific sub-processors.

You have 30 days after your subscription ends to export your data. After that, your school’s data is deleted from our systems. We don’t hold your data hostage — it’s yours.
